Michele and Jorge have known each other for a very long time. Michele is a college professor who teaches astronomy/physics and co-directs a planetarium outreach program. She has an MS in Physics and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Washington State University. Jorge has his BS in Animal Science from Colorado State University and is a general contractor. He is originally from Colombia, but he and Michele live in Spokane, Washington.
