We went back to Otavalo to share the market experience once more with Krista and Scott. It was delightful to see the people and the colors of the market, capturing some of the old and some of the new…wait until you see the photo of the woman at the market with her cell phone! We had fun picking out blankets and cozy socks, negotiating prices, and finding just the right hand made rug for our house. It was humbling to witness how much our purchase meant to the family. The father was especially grateful and spent a few moments blessing his familia as we walked away. I will always have this memory.
